  • re amp question.it's 3A@ 12V so the current - 240 is 20 x less than at 12V i.e 3/20 = 0.15A.

I forgot about this. So I can buy an additional transformer and have that come off the same fused spur too in order to avoid over loading it?

I'm reusing the old alarm wires to power various things by stepping down with this transformer then stepping down again to 5v dc.

So far they've all been 5v dc 1.5 amp, this new device is a ring alarm bell box and is 2.5amp (still 5vdc)

    Thanks mate (again!)

This device is a plug but they've all been usb so far, not sure why.
light joint. use a wagobox with wago connectors. drop a T/E to light. shove wagobox up into ceiling.
i am not allowed to post in DIY, hence the pm. stick with what you are comfortable with plenty of advice here. few of us in or close to God's chosen City could pop in for a quick check at minimal cost.

I was going to say their should be something legal you can do. I don't understand why people are so comfortable sh*tting where they eat.

this Scouser could improve that CU for a reasonable cost. beer, smokes, a bit of cash on top, and £100 to not leave your car standing on bricks.
