Hi does anyone know where I can source any larger round grommets ? I will be drilling a hole in 100 × 100 trunking so guess around 75mm hole. I've seen larger grommets before but they were a different material to rubber, they were like rubber but had fibre in them, a bit like bicycle tyre...
As the switch is breaking the neutral (causing open circuit) then the neutral will show potential to earth. The neutral is a live (potential to earth) conductor isnt it if its not going anywhere
sure im not going mad but them readings are as they would be if the neutral is switched, so looks like you need to extend the feed so the line an be switched, and put a blank plate on the existing switch !
Has the place got a switchfuse feedin the CU per chance. Found this once a while back lights keep going off/on and it was a loose neutral in old switchfuse feeding the flat upstairs
