    Neutral bar

    i couldn't find the answer to, Why is the neutral bar not live in simple terms. Im thinking Line from mcb to equipment then neutral connected from the load to the neural bar to complete the circuit with 230 v throughout the circuit? I'm wrong I know but why?

    Inverter on earth stake?

    Been asked to replace an old consumer unit, PV installed so bonding etc up to scratch. House supply is TNCS, however with the PV wiring the inverter (Fronius) is on its own earth stake! So that makes 2 earthing systems in close proximity! Why would they want to earth stake the inverter?

    Supplementary bonding question

    hi all, I know there are many questions on this topic but I'm unable to find my answer. Can I connect my 4mm supplementary bonding cable to the cpc in my shaver socket which then links directly back to the light (and via the cpc back to the CU)?     hi did a IR on a shed board L-N was 0.11Mohms so took out the radial circiut and light circuit did them separately and was fine 299Mohms so why low when they are connected to the shed board????? dont do much testing so help be nice cheers

    Ring main tripped struggling to find cause

    Shower tripping sockets rcbo

    On call and the socket rcbo is tripping when the shower gets turned on.i have traced the shower cable and it goes from db to switch to shower.there is nothing connected into the sockets it is on a 40 a rcbo the sockets are 32a The socket rcbo trips but the shower one doesnt. Any thoughts?
