    Small 230v stick welder.

    one of the fitters has fetched me a welder where he has welded threw or melted the earth cable, and main stick weld cable it is currently 10mm2 cable, my question is can i use 16mm2 tri-rated or does have it to be "proper" welding cable (as it seems rather expensive for a drum of it) cheers

    Got a call to day customers property thats let with no power , get there to find a BG notice of potenially dangerouse situation L E reverse , consumer unit disconnected by BG tails left tapped up so property had no electricity , now you can imagin what my customer thought !!! didnt do my job...
