Hi guys,

I've been asked by a builder to fit a pull-cord extractor fan into a window, which has had an 152mm (approximately 6 inches) hole drilled through it. This measurement was given by the client.

I'm struggling to find a fan which can be fitted to a window, with that size diameter. Do they even exist?

More annoyingly is that some products are advertised at being 6" extractor fans but that isn't the diameter of of the hole. The link below shows such a product, as you can see it says "6 inch window-wall fan" at the top but if you read further is says the diameter is 7 1/4" (184mm). Why the f**k is it entitled 6" window-wall fan if that isn't diameter of the tube?

6 Inch Window Extractor Fan with Pull Cord Switch

Anyway, I digress...if anybody could point me in the way of what I need (or actually inform that they do not exist), this would be much appreciated.

Thanks

6 Inch describes the size of the fan blade, the inside daimeter of the tube...
The hole has to big enough to take the fan casing.

a 5 inch fan should fit and cover the hole
