Discuss 16th - 17th edition in the Periodic Inspection Reporting & Certification area at ElectriciansForums.net

Hi Marc.

The test procedures themselves are the same.

One of the main differences is that the minimum values for I/R have changed they've all gone up one to 0.5M 1M and 1M. for 230 500 and 1000 respectively.

As long as your familiar with the new test froms and the main differences between the 16th and 17th you should be fine.

Perhaps view some sample forms on the NIC or IET website and any queries you can post on here and we can help out.

Cheers.
