hello guys, my name is jj and i am currently doing a BTEC at college which i have decided to leave to do the fully qualified electricians course at my college. my question is, if i complete this two year course (city and guilds 2357) which i believe is the merging of 2330 and 2356, what other qualifications do i need to go into employment? also is apprenticeships a better option? they seem to be very difficult to find though! i am aware of part P and the 17th editition but a bit unsure on how i obtain them and when? i know a lot of people say that people that do the courses do not gain enough experience, but once completing the course i would be willing to work even for free just for the experience, but am just totally confused to which way is the right one? sorry im throwing all these questions at you guys, i just want to make sure i doing the right thing!
thankyou in advance for any responses and look forward to hearing from you
