Hi guys,
So I've just arrived in the UK (literally 2 days ago) and am currently enrolled in the 17th edition 2382-12 course commencing Monday.
I do not have the regulations book although was given the opportunity to purchase it on arrival for £70 pound. I am more than happy to purchase the book as I will be using it for quite some time after the course, but I hear the new regs book will be published January 2015.
Is it worth my time to purchase the book or would anyone be willing to sell one of their old copies? I am currently living in London. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks :)

If you’re doing the 17[SUP]th[/SUP] course now you will need the green regulations. Once you’ve passed the IET will want more money for a copy of the yellow regulations AND the On Site Guide AND the various guidance notes.

Never mind putting your hand in your pocket, just empty your bank account in to the IET coffers.

Where are these available from?

Thanks for the reply Tony, at this point in time I do plan on purchasing the current regulations as it seems compulsory for the course, just thought somebody might be willing to sells theirs as I believe the new book will be released within a few months.
I save a few pounds, someone makes a few pounds for the new book - something along those lines lol
