Just got myself a shiny new Kindle and in the process of filling it with stuff..

Just wondered if there's electronic versions of the mandatory books available and whether they've used them.

Got paper copies of everything of course, but would like electronic copies in case they're not to hand.

The kindle prefers .mobi files. It can display pdf's but it won't give you any of the usual options such as font size, lines per page, words per line etc if the file is pdf. If you can get hold of the regs in pdf you can use a program called Calibre to convert it to any other portable reader format, including .mobi. Calibre is free and it's a 'must have' for anyone with an e-book reader or other portable device.

Nice one, thanks mate. I'm very new to the Kindle business!

I've got a copy of Part P in pdf so I'll experiment with Calibre...
