I need a 180 stand alone pir to cover a large area possibly up to 30 metres. Is there anything available for this distance? For outside use
 
I would tend to look for security alarm PIR sensors as they tend to be more flexible (and more expensive)!
The basic PIR lighting sensor (cheap) is 12m range and you may be able to use multiples of these around the area to get coverage.
