Evening all

Have many of you worked with timber frame buildings? Im pricing 9 houses which are all timber frame and have easy joist so no drilling of joists

All houses are 4 bedroom with TV and DATA points in each room, downlights downstairs and a garage with a light and socket

How long would you allow to first and second fix? I feel i work fast....

I would price like i do all jobs now, per point regardless of whether its brick or timber etc
If you want the job then knock a fiver off per point.
Not worth doing for day rate and cost of materials.....you are here to make a living :)

Hi,the size, spec, type of equipement, how many and who are the other trades, working at the same time.....

Going to be a wild stab to give pricing, which will alter also,if you are on your own.

I may offer to show my undressed parts....if you do not have to do any drilling ?

Did you have to fit your own noggins?

Stapler worth the hefty price lee?
Yeah I would say so mate. Obviously doesn’t look the neatest but good for bashing in timber framed houses. I’m doing 5 timber framed houses atm which are normal joists first and second floor and metal web joists on ground floor. It’s really good for the 1st and 2nd floors. I done half the 1st floor using tool belt, clips and hammer and my business partner done the other half with the stapler and was done quicker. I would say if you do a lot of timber framed then it will more than pay for itself.
