I've got 2 double switches to wire for 2 hallway lights. Each switch has cable connecting to one light then cable between the 2 backboxes, which says strap on it. How do I wire the double switches so they can turn each light on and off?20200522_135219.jpg20200522_135144.jpg

you may find that it's been wired so that both lights come on together. can't be sure without being physically there with test meter/s.

On the first picture, what is marked on the left hand cable?

There isn’t enough cables there to have 2 lights controlled by 2 x 2 way switches.

pop the backboxes out the wall and check there’s no more cables hiding in the wall.
