I have 2 single light switches I want to put into a double switch.

At present there is

  • a one way one gang switch
  • a two way one gang switch


I want in the double switch

the same


Please see the pictures for more details.
Im from the UK but this setup is in france so a bit confused and all the workmen are off til at least April 15.

Either buy parts to make from grid switch systems or buy a 2 gang (single plate wide with 2 switches independent of each other) 2 way switch and wire 1 side as 1 way control and the other as 2 way control....



..or am I missing something?
 
Normally in France the existing switches will be momentary i.e. don't switch down and stay down, but spring back to the original position, if so they are on a latching relay in the DB protected by an MCB, it looks like you have three circuits there and one switched live wire not connected?

Sorry did not give all the information, Convention is Orange is switched live which goes directly to the lamp holder from the last switch and Purple/Violet is between switches, the wiring on the pic's looks a bit odd. ;)
