At 1st fix stage. Customer has decided they want option for wifi switching.

There's 2 way and intermediate switching involved that I was going to do conventionally with 3 core cable.

Obviously now I'm going to provide a neutral at each "main" switch but what about the rest?

I believe you would only require the neutral at one point. The other switches will become redundant and would need linking out.

Depends on the switches you use.

Some utilise the 3core already there to give connection to a slave switch... the master being the main one.
2 cores are L & N, to power the slave, the 3rd core being just a extra low voltage signal.
Connect it up wrong and risk 230v into the signal terminal. Leading to dead switch!
For intermediate, just loop each core into the slave switch... ie 2 Lives, 2 neutrals, 2 signals

Some systems use battery powered slaves that connect to master via radio. Good if there isn’t already a 2 way circuit, and you can put the slave anywhere... ie at a bed headboard
