hi all i was just wondering about a little thought of mine if i was to put all appicances on a grid eg fridge washer ect. but as far as i can see the max switch only comes in 20A the loading of the hob is 5KW .

i am aware tht any load of 2KW should be on it own cct.

now would it be ok to to take into account the discrimiation that not all 4 rings would be on at the same time so therefoe not reaching max load?
do any of you know of a switch witch is ratd higher than 20A in a grid

Have you thought about using a grid switch to control a contactor
For the heavy loads.
