Hi everyone, I’ve enrolled in a evening college course at the moment, I’m doing 2365-02 level 2 ,
My question is: would this get me in the trade to work? Or do I have to do level 3? Would level 3 get me work? Or do I need NVQ?
thank you in advise for reply’s

I don’t know if that alone will get you work. It will definitely show initiative. There’s a few other course you could do depending on what industry your looking to break into. The Electrical game is very diverse.

To be certified to work on your own on the big sites unsupervised you'll need level 2 2365 level 3 2365 then Am2 then finally your NVQ portfolio this you'll receive the ECS Gold Card.

Not every electrican has done their NVQ but having this will give you a better scope for work.

Nothing stopping you working as an electricians mate whilst in college.
