2391 inspection and testing

Has anyone undertaken this exam and if so is it hard to get to grips with, I have average testing experience but not quite clued in yet with all the equations etc.

Its no longer being taken as far as I know. Its been replaced by 3 new exams

It's two exams, the 2394 and 2395 have replaced the 2391.

The 2396 is a separate course and exam (level 4)

The last 2391 is March 16th IIRC.

Doing the 2394 and 2395 at Leamington college £600 for both, look out some places are charging£599 each =£1198, if you fail the last 2391 no resits

I have got the 2391 can someone briefly explain what you are qualified to do if you only have one of the two new ones?

If you are qualified you don't necessarily need either of them to test and or inspect

having practical experience with testing on the job will be a far bigger advantage than being good at maths no matter which inspection qual you do , i can guarantee that ;-)
buy some books and read em.

you have to have both the 2394 and the 2395 to achieve the same qualification as 2391,the 2396 has nothing to do with the 2391.

The 2391 is still been taught in all colleges so its the main one to get and is the best one to have, but it is the hardest of all the exams,

the new exams are 2392, 2394, 2395 these are all water down C&G if its still in your area then i would go for the 2391

the 2396 is the old 2400 which we took after 2391

I was on a job last year and the client wouldnt let a bloke test in a 3 phase switch room because he had one of the new exams and the client insisted on the 2391

Yes it was as they messed around with the numbering system and for some reason the 2400 Design course be came 2391-20

It's only Hard if you Don't know the answers!!! lol!!
