Hi all,

I'm looking at going on the 2394/2395 course which was previously the 2391.

Apparently the 2391 was difficult to pass and had a high fail rate.

Is the new one easier?

Does anyone have any info or a guide?

Thanks all

Unless you have sound knowledge of inspection and testing, able to recite GN3 accurately, knowledge of various regs and legislation and publication dates and the like and are capable of drawing detailed fully labelled diagrams of things like RCDs, earth fault paths, how to test rods and circuits etc, and can explain in the correct sequence how to test things correctly, there's a fair chance you will fail.

typically 50% of people fail it and as high as 70%, you can get all the info of the C&G website.

if you are new to this and just done a 5 week course, don't entertain it as you will fail.
