240v site lighting

hi all, not been on here for a while as the twins are taking up all my spare time at the moment

been asked to fit some flood lights to the top of a building site hoarding which is 6 metres tall.

they want feed and loops in swa to adaptable boxes and blue arctic from boxes to lights.

dont seem right to me so would welcome any input from someone more knowledgable on this as to whether its acceptable within the regs??

nothing wrong with that method but as its site lighting make sure its RCD protected

As long as its the floodlighting for the site that's out of reach, 230v is fine. Rcd protected. Canteens / offices etc

Any other lighting should be 110v

Can't remember off the top of my head, but does it say in the regs about lighting over a certain wattage can be 230v?

if in doubt you can get 400w metal halides in 110v
