2way switiching- into intermediate

Evening Evening!
currently have a situation where I have:

switch on loft landing (2way)
switch on 1st floor landing (2way)
which turn some down lights on/off on 1st floor

-SL from the lights is at switch on 1st floor........and 3core from here to loft lanidng

now customer ALSO wants a 3rd switch added further along in the 1st floor landing.

So I know I can change my current 2way switch on 1st floor to an intermediate switch- and run a new 3core from here to the 3rd switch (2way)


my question being- does it matter that my SL+LIVE will be at the intermediate switch- rather than one of the 2way switches (like shown in the diagram below)

-if not is it just an case of the SL and LIVE just going in L2 AND L2 of intermediate?

Probably 3plated at the light Pete.

@J.C.E it will be fine, If you think about it its still connected in the same way terminal wise just at the other end of the 3core and earth

I take the feed to the lights from whichever switch is nearest/most convenient. It can be an intermediate, no problem there!
