Don't do much domestic stuff more commercial and ind. but the sister in law has just bought a 3 bedroom house which needs ripping.

Trying to get a price together for her unfortunately for me it's a love job so price will be for materials only.
She just wants basic accessories how much do you retiring guys usually she'll out for mantels roughly for 3 bed rewire.

Im thinking about £700

I would say £300 - £400 cable (depends on size of house)
£80 loaded CU
back boxes, face plates, grommits, capping..... £100 - £150

Are you doing it on your own? Rewires are a right ball ache on your own!

Depends how many sockets she's having lights whether she has accessories in white or decorative that £700 should cover a basic rewire with dual rcd board , smoke detectors thinking bout it get your list priced up by at least a couple of different wholesalers.

Not doing job on own her fella is a brickie so he is going to be helping, plus they have another friend who is a spark who is helping out so we are hoping to first fix the house in a weekend, here's hoping! Concrete floor as well but brickie says he will hav all holes drilled where we need for us starting ill just get him to drill a 20mm where we need a socket plus the heater needs 20mm hole anyway for his rad tails

capping ??????? does this just mean you surface mount the cable then plaster over them, so just having too cut the boxes out...... never seen anyone do this
