Discuss 3 module grid switch in a 1g box. Do they exist? in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

FAA Greenie

good evening Ladies and Gents.

A, lets say, 'friend of mine' has fitted a 25mm 1g box to house three grid modules (Two LED dimmers and a standard switch), the crazy dude thought he had seen a 3 module grid set up somewhere so never thought to check it out during first fix !!

However, my 'friend' can't seem to find one anywhere.... He's such a duffer.

Do any of you guys know if anyone does one? I know there are a few makes now that do the frameless versions but again, no luck searching the interweb.

If not, I'll just have to bite the bullet and put a longer box in. I mean, my friend will... :innocent:

Click mini grid as far as i can remember allows 3 mods in a single box and 6 in a twin.

Id say another big problem your 'friend' will have is the fact he installed a 25mm back box and plans to have 2 dimmers and a standard rocker switch installed in there... Lets just hope he wired it with as few a cables as possible at the switch and didnt have to 2 way any of it o_O

The 25mm box is set well back, but yes, he will be going back next week to carefully cut a 35mm 2 gang in there. He thanks you all for your input !!
