Discuss 3 phase insulation resistance in the Periodic Inspection Reporting & Certification area at ElectriciansForums.net

Hi All first post

I read that during the insulation resistance test of a 3 phase removal of the neutral incomer is necessary !
can some one please state the procedure for 3 phase IR tests
Thanks

If the incomer is a 4 pole 60947-3 switch disconnector then I would just leave the neutral intact for a EICR. Obviously it would depend on the rcd main switch if testing a TT system as to weather to discount the neatral.
