Hi I have a 3 phase socket to change like for like does anyone know what tests have to be carried out after
Yes continuity of cpc. Phase sequence, IR, Zs, polarity. Can't think at the moment Dinner is immanent.

All of the above AND continuity of the N if it is a 5 pin socket.
Some equipment can be destroyed by loss of N

The fundamental tests you should do are insulation resistance, earth continuity, Zs and rcd test if applicable. These should be recorded and submitted to the client maybe on a Minor Works Certificate.

@Alan-b welcome to the forum, but with this one it's probably best you get a sparks with the test equipment and experience to do this. It's just with three phase, the bang is a lot bigger and the fireworks more spectacular, if you get it wrong. All being in order, it's a half hour job.
