3 phase sub meter running backwards

Have a client who has a 3 phase sub meter running backwards, Has anybody got any ideas how to resolve this please?

Swap any two phases over? As you would for a 3 phase Motor.

I don't think swapping two phases would change the direction of the meter, otherwise a lot of people would be doing it to get their bills down.

Usually a meter going backwards is because the in and the out are the wrong way round. Or theres PV or something generating electricity.

If its the old metal disk behind a window job, theres a few ways to slow it down.
The only legal way I know of is to have PV pushing back into the grid

I agree, the in and out connections on the meter are the wrong way round.
alternatively if the meter uses external current clamps,
check that the arrows for current flow are pointing in the right direction.
if they are clipped on the cables the wrong way round, that is the symptom you would get.

Easy, generate more energy (grid tied) than you are using on site and the meter will run backwards

Many thanks for the reply's all fixed and it was the in and out cables were the wrong way round.
