Discuss 3 phase supply + 3 seperate ground mounted systems = 3 systems (3 FiTs) in the Solar PV Forum | Solar Panels Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

We have a customer that wants three seperate ground mounted systems.

It is a farm which has a three phase supply with each phase supplying a seperate dwelling. With it being a farm the it is only on one set of deeds.

The set up is that the father lives in the main farm house with his sons living in the other dwellings. In total we will have 2 no. 4 kWp systems and 1 no 10 kWp system for the main house.

I know this is a bit of a grey area so I would appreciate your views as I can only see it being on a sub 10 kWp.

Any opinions or clarification would be greatly appreciated.

How many MPAN's? Whose names are on the bills?

If all of the property's are registered to one person on the deeds then it is highly likely to be classed as a single generation site .

The definition of a 'site' is in the legislation. It is not absolutely clear and leaves some discretion with the authority. However, if separate MPAN and separate ownership then likely to be separate site. I have had a case of same ownership (house plus rented annex) but separate MPANs where it was counted as a separate site by the FIT supplier.
Regards
Bruce
