I have a question on 3 wire Delta connected winding with Phase Supply between X, Y & Z is 370 Volts.
What is the voltage between One Phase 'X' and the center tap of the opposite winding?

See attached doc.

And you don't even need trigonometry since ABY is a right-angle triangle with two known side lengths...

The actual question (see attachment to #1) with its diagram and words indicates a single phase supply across and x and y.

I am not sure that's true, it really depends on what part of the syllabus is being tested, if it's within the three phase section, then I think we should assume a balanced 3 phase supply ph-ph of 370v - noting that the diagram is poor in representing the voltage measurement.

If it was indeed just a single phase supply, then we would have to assume that the load is balanced, or else the answer could be anything up to 370v

But yes, without context it looks like a bad representation, however the written post preceding it states voltage on x,y, and z

The thread title and question refer to '3-wire delta' which is a valid description of a polyphase supply, so I think it's reasonable to take that at face value. But but it is a reminder of how easy it is to make false assumptions when part of the context is missing.
