30ma protection?

Just need clarification running 2 new supply's to a boiler and immersion heater from new 2way unit in a garage the 2 supplies are trunked in their entirety to fused spur and 20amp do switch Di these supplies need to be 30 ma protected?i have them on a 100ma and been told its incorrect any help appreciated

If its surface run there is no need for 30 ma RCD protection but is notifiable.

not for through a wall. only if buried < 50mm deep in the wall ( i.e. in the plaster.)
