That's a roght old butchers hook (Mess) looks like the original installer has nicked the insulation on the Blavk (Neutral not Negative) wire, to be safe you would be well advised to get a reputable Electrician to replace/repair that switch.Hi, I need to replace a cooker switch. See attached image. The negative is on the right side of the pic. I'd need a 45A switch with socket.
I can't really find any switch witch looks like this. Does anyone know where can I buy something like this?

From the pics Mike, looks like they are plastered in real tight, good idea, only a site visit will prove yes or no, but you never know.Can you not try to pull some slack up as the cables are sheathed and re-connect that mess properly?
