Hi there , is there anything else to consider when using 5 core SWA instead of 4 core + separate Earth in three phase installations for cable calcs etc? Apologies but just moving in to the 21st century never used 5 core before
 
Not if you are using the 5th core as the CPC as it is not a live conductor.

Though you might want to question the need for it when the armour is almost always suitable for use as a CPC.
 
I must admit, I have found it great when putting in 16A 3phase sockets.
many of them come with threaded entry and not easy to use a banjo or an earth nut to get the cpc to the socket from the armour.

still use a swa gland on the socket end but don’t need to mess with connecting anything to it.
