Hello,

I recently started my Electrical technical NVQ - 5357 and wanted to ask if anyone could recommend any dvds/books that may guide me on how to fill out my work log book properly I get the gist of it but just need to know more about what are the right pictures to take ect, I realise that it has recently changed from 2356 to 5357 and I can't seem to find anything online for the 5357.

Thanks !

No mate sorry, I've had a quick look around and info is sparse to say the least.
Just a thought, could you not approach the training provider for info? sample work books etc, the only thing you would need to watch out for, should they provide any evidence would be plagiarism, maybe some of the past trainees can provide you with samples, you posted your question yesterday evening maybe as Guys wake up you will get more answers, good luck anyhow.

Thanks for the reply's, I'm doing it off my own back I'm not an apprentice so I'm not 100% sure why I've seen it being called a apprentice log book, there is very little support from my training provider they gave me a few pages of info but it doesn't really explain allot, I have been given a work log book/portfolio I believe it can be done online indeed however their needs to be a paperback copy you can provide for the assessor I think you get 3-4 years t0 d0 it so thats plenty of time for the 5 units.

Sorry for picking up an old thread, C&G5357 is the qualification within the apprenticeship standard, this shouldn't be delivered outside an apprenticeship. C&G 2357 is the standalone NVQ diploma (EAL equivalents apply to both courses).

Which provider are you with?
