Have been called to a recently installed installation. Customer noticed one of the GLS BC LED lamps was glowing when turned off. Here are the facts:
Please help.
Is this normal? Where is the 60V coming from? Is it somthing to do with the switch/2 way configuration?
Many thanks
- Circuit tested - all tests appear normal.
- Wired with feeds at the switch.
- All lamps are LED
- Measured voltage when lights switched on is normal.
- With lights switched off, measured voltage across L-N and L-CPC is approx 60V (ONLY ON LIGHTS SWITCHED BY A 2 or 3 WAY)
- When 3-core (2 way) is disconnected from circuit, 60V reading disappears.
- Insulation resistance of 3 core cable is >500Mohms
- Everything is brand new
Please help.
