6mm 3 phase 20mm conduit

What's everyone's thoughts on 4 conductors 3 phase 415v at 6mm running 3.5mt in 20mm conduit domestic use. 9

The on site guide has tables for this, factors for the conduit for certain lengths and size and factors for the cable. Have a quick look, sounds okay though.

Fairly low it's a 3 bed house, but no heating or hot water there is a small sauna tho.

Don't think that's relevent Drew, 4x6mm conductors will have a total factor that needs to be less than the conduit factor. I'll have a look when I get to my van.

The rating for 6mm is 58 for each conductor, and the conduit rating for 3.5m straight is 290
Don't forget though that this is a guide.

SWA then, given it would be a similar size to the actual singles and conduit method and you have much more forgiving factors for its installation too.

I am guessing this is in Sweden so requirements in the UK may not be applicable.

That sounds quite limiting! 32mm is a huge step up from 20mm.

Most countries have regs regarding the percentage you can fill conduits without current derating.... I'm guessing the UK might be the exception though and I'm not sure about Sweden either.

3 x 6mm phase wires plus 1x 6mm insulated CPC would just scrape through according to the South African regs.

No 25mm conduit in Sweden....wow....every day is a school day.

Didn't realise it was in Sweden. If the regs are as ours you could always calculate the size of the earth, could get it down to 4mm or maybe 2.5mm.
