Can a 9.5Kw system be installed, commissioned and signed off without DNO notification and then notifying them or would gemserve or the supplier pick it up, if so whats the worst case scenario rather than waiting weeks?

If it is over 3 phases, then no problem.

If not, then don't do it. Worst case scenario? They find out about it and refuse your connection. And you'll have very little chance of getting a G59 install approved by them again.

G83 is for systems upto 16A per phase so a 9.5kWp system can be installed under G83 as long as you have used a 3 phase inverter or 3 seperate single phase inverters. So prior notification is not required.

the inverter need to be certified g83 compliant as well ! ( they would all pass its just a question of if your manufacturer did the paperwork as I understand it ) if not pm me we have in stock if you want to swap it out
