Hi all can anyone tell me if a 12v3.7amp battery is ok to use. In this panel thanks always used a 12v3.2 ampthanks guys

it will be fine as long as it fits in the box. the Ah rating of these batteries has increased over the years without any increase in the physical side.

It is a bit big fir the box it fits in the box if I lie it on its side will it be ok not standing with the terminals on the top I could put the battery outside the panel as the panel is in the attic

no problem on it's side. the battery is sealed lead acid. or get a smaller battery. write the date of installation on it with a sharpie.

Never heard of a 12v 3.7ah battery.

me neither. what used to be 3.0Ah is now 3.3Ah.

That is twice the size of a 3.2ah battery, get the correct size.

I use Tayna for car and leisure batteries not sure I would use them for alarm batteries as I only use the Yuasa SLA batteries as I find they are the most reliable
