FatallyFlawed has been campaigning to raise awareness of the dangers associated with plug-in socket covers for 10 years now. Many electricians have been warning about them for much longer!

As you may know, in recent years we have received the support of a number of influential bodies, including Barnardo’s, the NHS which has banned their use in all NHS facilities , and the electrical manufacturers association BEAMA. The position taken by the NHS has been endorsed by the Department for Education.

FatallyFlawed, in conjunction with other industry experts, is preparing a submission to JPEL-64, the body responsible for the UK wiring regulations seeking their support in achieving the regulation of socket covers.

Are you prepared to allow your name to be added to those who support this submission? If so, and you are not already in touch with us on this, please contact us at: [email protected]
