Hi, I have a small consumer unit that provides a supply to two commando sockets outside. I need to add a timer to one of the socket so bought a cheap off the sheaf digital timer ( Greenbrook T80-C ) but struggling to work out how to connect it

Top connections are 1 & 2, bottom being 3 & 4

Manual says supply to terminals 1 & 2, Terminals 3 & 4 are volt free, 3 being Live in and Live out going to Load ( presumably terminal 4 )

Can someone just tell me which connections go where please in really simple terms.

Thanks

Run a Brown wire from the bottom of the relevant MCB to 1 and a second from the same place to 3.

Connect 2 to the blue terminal strip.

Connect 4 to the load.

Where in Leicestershire are you?
