Hi, looking for a bit of assistance guys.

I’m going to mount a 4pod fog light assembly to my car. The lights I have chosen are 7” hi lo beams with indicators. Can I just take the wires (hi,lo,DRL&indicator) and connect these to the existing circuits? The instruction mentions relays and switches but I was hoping I could just tap into the existing wiring and use the existing interior switches.
Thanks
John

You are at risk of burning out the existing wiring if you overload it , also the canbus may shut it out if it detects it as an overload.
A lot will depend on the power you wish to draw. A separate supply with relays to activate the lighting would be a way to do it .

I don't know what sort of lights you have, but if the "flash" position makes both dip and main beam come on together, then with a few more relays you can have that make all your auxiliary lights light up even if their switches are off.
