adjustable spanners..

Hi

Im after two adjustable spanners for doing swa glands, they need to be extra wide, but no more than 12inch in length. What mm jaw would fit a 240mm 4 core?

bloody big one!! a 12inch spanner will not be big enouph. If your restricted for space try a set of stilsons they have a bigger jaw size for a smaller overall length

Really mate you want either dedicated gland spanners or two sets of eagles beaks.

Eagle beaks are ideal as others have said 12inch adjustable wont look at 240mm gland (63mm or 75mm dependant on acctual cable diameter ) meaning overall gland size would be larger again i doubt there are adjustables with a 4inch jaw on the market with a size of less than 12inch ( no doubt Ill be proved wrong )
