hi guys looking for some inspiration/advice on an upcoming project. Been asked to install a small pv system on a mobile hut glamping sort of experience. Now clients wants some panels on the roof to run some 12v lighting and socket chargers for mobile phones. Now i haven't done anything with pv before and am not pretending to know it all, but isnt it pretty much as the pic below shows, i have seen kits for sale online which seem reasonable. 1 question i ask myself is the circuit protection really necessary for just lights and mobile phone charger? Any other things i need to consider?
Many thanks

I did this a few years ago, wooden 'luxury camping huts' with a 12V light and smoke lighter socket in each.
We used a standard 12V sealed lead acid battery as used in alarms etc with a maplins type solar battery charger.
We had about 150 of these huts in total and they all worked fine for the summer being taken round to music festivals.

No charge controller, just a straight forward solar battery charger, as you'd buy in maplins to trickle charge your car battery via the smoke lighter socket.
