I’ll Hi I need a bit of advice on our 5 year test the company has put a limitation on checking main fuses and bussbar testing due to the gas meter adjacent in the room !!
5 years previous this was not picked up is this acceptable or should they do this !

Also they have put all socket outlets as a C2 when the installation was done at least 20 years ago should they not be a C3 as I thought you tested it as to installation and if there is a regulation that states this could someone tell me it please

sockets without RCD protection would be a C3 normally, but if they are likely to be used to power appliances/tools outdoors, then a C2 is appropriate.
 
hi , in most domestic houses the gas meter is under the stairs next to the main head/ meter and dis board , is it different in a commercial setting ? (i am now going to check under my stairs to if i am talking rubbish lol)
