Hi all.just come accross this, not 100% sure what is does.in the con.unit 2 conductors coming from bottom.. N going to neutral busbar..line going to 6a mcb used for lights what is is exactly ?

Yes quite right, the little symbols on the front tell you exactly what it s.

Scott, can you identify them? If so list what they are, not being men, but it's the best way to learn, have a pod look at it and think what they might mean.

the fact the line goes into the same MCB is a red herring if that helps, it's nothing to do with lights, that's all I'll say.

What kind of SELV device do you think it is?

It has most likely been connected to a lighting circuit because they ran out of space for it to have a seperate MCB.

Are there just the two mains conductors connected to it, or are there any other wires?
