I’m looking for a cheap radio for my daughters Kia picanto. It’s a 2010 and the radio only has a CD player. I’m looking for something with usb and Bluetooth so she can answer her phone safely.
Are the under £40 android ones I see on eBay any good? (Although marked as “unbranded” possible carp)

would it be worth a look at local scrapyard for a recent Kia?
Other brands would require the converter leads

been a long time since I swapped out a radio. Old Y reg Ford Fiesta, radio, no cassette player and only one speaker.
that didn’t last long!

You can get a decent Pioneer one for just over a hundred. Bluetooth, USB, the works. My son got one for his car last year and its spot on.

i was looking at head units on ebay, seemes good value for the price. however, went for a 2nd hand sony 2 module, essential IMO for reversing camera. now i can see what i'm reversing into. instead of waiting for the bang.

but back to ebay. this looks a good buy.

The Chinese imported no brand android units are pretty hit and miss. I have one in my van that came with it. It interesting for sure, loads of intermittent issues.
