Just installed a load of Aico smokes for a customer in one of his rentals and he mentioned remote access to the system. Looking at Aico they have the SmartLink system that uses the GSM netowrk.

Looking at the installation instructions there's no mention of SIM card but at a wild guess I would need to install one to connect to the network. Anyone installed one of these shed any light on the matter?

Also anyone recommend any decent network providers that will provide a cheap SIM, more than likely PAYG? Reception in the area is pretty good for all providers.

If you look at the technical specification, the SIM card is supplied.
I need new glasses... ??

Cheers
