Hi Folks,
I have changed a light switch which connects to alexa and an app looking at the wiring diagram it all looks pretty straight forward and standard, IMG_20190331_223140.jpgWhen I opened the old switch this is what I had to work with,

When I connected as I thought was correct the lights on the switch came on but the actual lights didn't any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Amazon have sold loads of these that peeps can't use.

They could make more money selling the "old house loop in/out kit"
They could charge say....30 quid for some wagos and a metre of singles so they can have it hanging it out of the ceiling light fitting by its wires. That would look mint haha

If you can get a refund, you could try a Lightwave device, they apparently work with Alexza (you’ll need to verify your lamps are compatible, ask Lightwave). They do not require a neutral.

What does your new switch do, why not use a Philips Hue dimmer switch?
