Hi everyone,

I've been reading alot of post regarding AM2 on here and they're all really helpful. I've got a question on the electrical installation cert. With regards to nature of supply parameters you test the Ze with the earthing conductor out then you put that earth back in. Then you do pefc and pscc test. what results should I put down for Ipf in the supply parameters? I'm a little confused in what the difference the results for the supply parameters and Ipf at the DB?

Would be really greatful for you advice and help on this.

the supply parameters are the same as the board as you measure on the incoming side of the board.

Thank you for your reply. I forgot to mention the supply is 3 phase. Do you double the pssc test and record that under the supply parameters?
yes, double it. best case is 1.732 times ( phase - phase ) but double to be on the safe side. remember that PSSC ( ( L - N or L - L ) may well be hhigher than PEFC ( L - E ).

@Gareth John
Good luck with your AM2 this week.

If you could give us an daily update on the AM2 process & how each day goes I'm sure it will be beneficial for others about to undergo the same exam.

All the best
