Another HIVE thermostat wiring issues

Hello All,

New Hive thermostat has been installed.

When you run the hot tap the boiler kicks in to produce hot water.

However when called to heat the rads it will not kick in to produce any heat.

I expect it has been wired up incorrectly.

From the fused spur I have.......
L
N
E

From the boiler I have
Brown
Blue
Grey
Earth

Attached should be the HIVE terminal options, any help with the correct wiring sequence would be helpful.

As mentioned it all works unless you want the rads on !!

Not a lot of info there, but sometimes a link between L and common are nessissary

Don’t put the link in Incase your boiler requires a volt free contact you will do damage to it. What boiler do you have and how is it currently connected?

So get the electrician you are serving your apprenticeship with to help you.

Yes Link between L and common did the trick
