Hello guys

I need to install some external car charges outside in a car park on the wall.

Problem being is that the building has a PME system and there are no drawings of where the services are buried so I want to avoid using an earth steak.

Is there any way I can get away with not having to use an try system?

Chris not sure what your last sentence means.

sorry, i was trying to say is there a way i can get away with not using a TT rod for car chargers installed outside on a PME system. (very anxious about banging rods into the ground)
Pod point have a charger however the PME break detection device installed within is not to any BS standard to looks like a TT rod it is

Hire one of these jobbies

As I said in your other thread, hand excavation and conductive concrete.

They’re ok but not that accurate and won’t detect plastic services etc. Also the user needs experience to understand the readings.
Should be OK if he can read, RTM, or if he can't read hire a firm that traces underground services, or use a couple of bent welding rods, I used to be a dab hand with those, especially water pipes.
