For all who haven't heard of Vedhas, they do remedial work for insurance companies UK wide. As it's all emergency repairs it's usually an hour or 2 - 3 at most as the insurers won't go over that! I've done 12 jobs for them since January, so hardly a major income source! Biggest problem is payment! They advise by email they will pay on the Friday following day 30, but I've had to chase every invoice so far. As a result I've canned them. Has anyone else come across them?

No i've never heard of them.
But did you have to pay to go on there books ?
If yes how much ?
Homefix247 are a scam company, with other companys that are part of them scamming us contractors, we do the work and don't get paid after 30 days

Well, I would say that the only "regulations" I would recognise are BS7671 (IET Wiring Regulations). NICEIC may have their own interpretation and guidance, but I wouldn't regard them as "regulations". (Just my point of view.)

And what has that got to do with, Vedhas or Homefix 247 Handy Sparks ???

Since the subject of the thread is about Vedhas, my quote (in No.3 of this thread) was a reference to how Vedhas describe their electrical work (taken from the FAQ page of the Vedhas website). I guess that's a bit too cryptic for some.

My smiley was an indication of my views on their use of the phrase "NICEIC wiring regulations".
