Anyone recognise these sockets?

Hi Folks,

I am trying to source the sockets and switches as seen in the photos. There is absolutely 100% no branding on any of them, which seems a little odd given that they probably cost a bit.

I have had a look at a few brands in wholesalers and had no luck thus far. One thing I felt was fairly distinctive is the earth lug that protrudes out to make contact with the clip on face plate. They were fitted approx 2yrs ago, so I am hoping they are still around.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers guys,

Both look fairly similar. Is the Designa a Denmans own product? I ask because they don't seem to have branches north of York. I am up near Newcastle so would be a bit surprised if they were from Denmans.

I have been looking around further and found some Eurolight plates from Yesss which might be a good call also.

Yep Denmans, although they now have a grey back plate and termination gubbins. Bit crap really if you ask me.

I think the colour is gunmetal on his. Those black nickel look grey to me.

They are distinctive in that the live and neutral pin have their own combined plastic bit that shows through, rather than either all 3 pins on the same plastic bit, or all 3 pins having separate plastic bits.

If they have been changed by the customer, they tend to go to the usual DIY outlets and not electrical wholesalers. Toolstation is part of the wickes empire, screwfix is B&Q. Or home base.

They look very similar to Eurolite sockets but the colour does not seem quite OK, maybe the gunmetal mentioned above.
These are eurolite, also from astra, but also very similar if not the same from here.
However rsgaz may be more accurate as I cannot tell the depth of plate.

In their video, those ones look literally identical to the ones I posted when you see the rear. Probably manufactured in the same factory in China, in the exact same mould.

I have been looking for these self same sockets on and off for a couple of days now. The side profile is exactly the same also, with the two little indents that holds the plate on. Just hope they do a grid switch now also. Thanks again.
